I'm studying BSc (Hons) Computer Science and Informatics at Teesside University London. I previously completed a Level 3 BTEC in Game Development with a Merit. I enjoy learning how software works and developing practical skills in programming, networking and cybersecurity.
I'm focused, methodical and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Alongside my studies, I'm teaching myself web design and development, with the long-term aim of running my own business.
I developed a character creator over six versions, using Python and Tkinter for the interface. The project included JSON, error handling and a formal test plan. It helped me practise object-oriented programming and GUI development.

I built and tested singly, doubly and circular linked lists in Python. I used unittest to check edge cases and explored recursion and abstract data types. I also wrote a requirements specification for a password manager.

I built a small office network in Cisco Packet Tracer and analysed live traffic with Wireshark. I worked through phishing and website defacement scenarios, practising subnetting, firewall analysis and incident response.

I carried out simulated penetration tests on vulnerable lab machines, including Metasploitable, Linux and Windows Server 2008. I used PTES and OWASP testing methods, explored STRIDE and DREAD threat modelling, and wrote a report for a financial firm scenario.

I helped a family member design, market and manage a WordPress website that reached over 30,000 page views per month. This gave me practical experience in website management and helped improve my design and writing skills.

I helped plan sessions, mentored young children and spoke with parents to adapt the coaching to their needs. The role developed my communication, leadership and customer service skills.
